Recently, I had to replace a broken toilet seat, went to a DIY store, quickly grabbed one the same colour and size. Only when I unpacked the box did I realise that it was not only a 'soft close' model, but even had an infant's seat built into the cover. I delight in watching the seat slowly descend, reminiscent of the gaping mouth of a white shark swallowing its prey (hopefully, not a trapped infant!).
