Remarkable achievement from Final Year Electrical Engineering Students from DHA Suffa University which is highlighted by 24 News-HD a renowned Pakistani News channel. The Project “SMART Utilization of Energy” was developed in Supervision of Engr Asif Gulraiz. This Project can be taken as solution of efficient and effective utilization of Energy which is generated from Multiple Sources. This project was termed as Number 1 in IEEE Local competition and thus represented Pakistan in SS12 (an International Event) organized by IEEE in Srilanka. Currently, Engr Asif Gulraiz and Dr Bizzat are developing numerous solutions with Final Year students which can solve the current Electric Power Problems faced by Pakistan. Our department is rigorously taking steps to establish linkages with the industry. For this, EE department has constituted an IAB (Industrial Advisory Board) where panel of industry mentors, experts and experienced technology entrepreneurs share their valuable insight with EE esteemed faculty members on the current professional requirements required from a fresh graduate. We believe that our students should fulfill the needs of employers, industries and the society at large. Recently, students have completed internships at major engineering industries in Karachi, including PIA andK-Electric. Field trips, participation in competitions organized by the industry and guest speaker sessions by experts from various companies are some of the ways through which we are extending and strengthening our collaboration with potential employers.
