This 24' x 8.5' x 13.5’ tiny house is newly finished and I have been living in it since March. I designed and built the house alongside professionals, Longbranch Tiny Homes. The house is built on a brand new 2017 custom Tumbleweed tiny house trailer bed with 2 - 7,000 lb axels and electric trailer brakes.
This tiny house was designed for the chilly New England winters!
The centerpiece of the living space is a Salamander DEFRA approved Hobbit SE woodstove. Although it’s small in size, there’s nothing small about the amount of heat it gives out. It burns efficiently, leaves very little ash to empty, and the size of its window gives a lovely view of the fire!
Interior and exterior Roxul insulation keeps the heat in, and a propane wall mounted Rinnai heater keeps the house cozy through the long winter nights and while you are away during the day.
The guest loft fits a full-sized bed, and the master loft holds a queen bed with plenty of room to spare!
Living room couch/bench lifts for storage and can sleep 1.
Kitchen: apartment size refrigerator and propane stove/oven for full-time cooking capabilities. Large two bay deep stainless steel sink with sleek and elegantly functional modern faucet; beautiful naturally sealed maple butcher block; thorough shelving for storage of dishes, bakeware, appliances, pantry items, cookbooks, and a perfect spot for your laptop.
Bathroom: Full-sized tub/shower combo alongside a large Energy Star rated picture window creates space for relaxation and nature views all year long; Propane on demand hot water... you'll never run out of hot water! Ample bathroom shelving gives plenty of space for toiletries as well as two closets 3 feet wide by 32" deep offering generous room for clothes and home goods.
