"MENTAL TOUGHNESS" 💪 THINK LIKE A NAVY SEAL "OVERCOME MENTAL BARRIERS"

Narcissistic abuse survivors, gaslight abuse survivors, and those of us who suffer from CPTSD have brains that are hypersensitive. When trauma survivors are living in survival mode, we are not always aware that our emotional brain is running our lives.

Overcoming adversity to the point where you actually create an amazing life requires mental toughness. Learning HOW TO overcome is key. It is unrealistic to believe that anyone who has suffered great emotional abuse will know how to stay mentally tough when their world collapses. But what if people who have been abused, learned how to arm themselves with the tools they needed to discover their own personal power?

When trauma survivors suffer from an emotional trigger the brain is hijacked

NAVY SEALS use the Big 4 as a way to help prepare for severely stressful situations. By incorporating some of the training tools NAVY SEALS use to prepare for anxiety filled experiences, we can gain control over our lives. Learning to override panic helps us live a less reactive life. When we are less reactive, we can choose to make choices instead of continuing to perpetuate negative cycles.

If we ever hope to stop attracting narcissists, or emotionally abusive people, we need to first learn how to override our impulse to react to panic. We also need to learn how to begin attracting healthier people into our lives. This all helps us learn how to think about what we want to think, instead of recycling the past and freezing emotionally.
