South Korea's defence spokesperson Choi Hyun-soo said North Korea fired two short-range missiles into the sea on Thursday. South Korea said they are 'closely monitoring' North Korea movement after the missiles were fired. "South Korean government has been closely monitoring the related moves of North Korea, and we urge North Korea to stop such actions that do not help the efforts to relieve tensions on the Korean Peninsula," the defence spokesperson said.
