The Pulse - Doctor Patient Relationship: Growing Distrust

The Pulse - Doctor Patient Relationship: Growing Distrust So lets begin todays show of The Pulse which is on a growing distrust between the doctors and the patients . You saw what happened just a week ago at the NRS medical college in Kolkata where junior doctors were assaulted , by the angry relatives of the patients and this incident triggered protests across the country in solidarity and in demand for protection for doctors safety. this is not just a one city phenomenon but a trend which is becoming rampant and widespread across the country and the globe. why are incidents of mob violence against doctors increasing in the society , What can we do to make the doctors feel safe, do we need a central legislative protection , do we need a special training or a curriculum or mindset change ....all this and much more with the moot question on the debate as to who will heal the healers....joining me some prominent voices in the field
