Paying it forward: I surprised a local Jeeper with a new 1310 front driveshaft + installation

Paying it forward: I surprised a local Jeeper with a new 1310 front driveshaft + installation You guys may not know this, but purchasing Jeep parts is a challenge for me as well. When I get the chance to use this channel Grace and I have built for something good, I jump at it. Shawn, at Tom Wood's Driveshafts, did a HUGE favor for me and fully rebuilt my old 1310 front driveshaft after I ruined it by not properly maintaining it, and by the time I received it, I already had the new 1350 in place for bigger things to come. So, that left me with the question... What do I do with this fully rebuilt 1310 now? Of course, we quickly decided to use it as a way to give back. I contacted my good friend Scott Kistner and asked him if he had anybody in mind, and he picked Nick. Nick's wife has a beautiful 2018 JKU Rubicon Recon edition and has now been through TWO factory front driveshafts! The problem is that running a 4" lift puts the joint at an angle it wasn't designed for, so it blows it up pretty quickly. The 1310 double cardan CV replaces the factory Rezeppa style joints and provides the high-angle function that the jeep needs once the geometry has been modified. This is a bit of a dry video, but it's informative. Hope you all enjoy it!
