Musa Basjoo and Musa Velutina Bananas, Year Two - A Little About Each

Musa Basjoo and Musa Velutina Bananas, Year Two - A Little About Each I've done a couple of videos about our Musa basjoo banana tree, but I still get questions about it, so I thought I would spend a little time talking about it, and answer a couple of the most common questions. One is "how much do you water your Musa basjoo banana", another is "how much do you fertilize your Musa basjoo banana". Last year it got to an impressive height of 10 feet, but this year I expected it to be at least a couple of feet taller because it is off to a pretty good start. As well as the Musa basjoo banana, I have a Musa velutina that I started it from a seed that I planted last year. I overwintered it and put it in the ground this spring. While they are outside this summer, I will treat each of them exactly alike.
If you're growing any kind of banana, let us know how yours is doing.
