Ms. Paramita was raised by her single mother and her grandmother. Since her father passed away early when she was just a kid, her mother became the breadwinner of the family. Her mother was working abroad leaving Ms. Paramita in the care of grandmother. There was no prominent male figure in her family. When she was in grade 2, she fell really sick that her mother decided to come back and look after her. So, her grandmother and mother were the head of the family. She grew up to be strong and independent just like them but things happening around her made her more fragile from inside.

Ms. Paramita RL Rana shares one incident that made her realize how lucky she was to have her mother and grandmother by her side all this time.
