THE NEW OUTDOOR SUMMER ☀️ BIN IS FULLY ROCKIN’ AND ROLLIN’
THE HEAT 🔥 IS ON... CAN THE WORMS STAY HEALTHY?
The great harvest continues as I decide to leave this bin for another 2 weeks before harvesting. Time is at an all-time low with all the projects I have going, but the bin is flaky through and through and I know it can handle a bit more before harvest.
COCOONS!!
I decided to add about 500-800 cocoons (based on my estimation of excess after harvesting) to see if we can get this bin even more chock-full of worms and maybe get a full harvest by the time fall comes.
Another MASSIVE feeding today, but they are proving they can handle what I throw at them.
The beauty of an outdoor bin 🌱 is that the microbes, insects, bacteria and fungi all work so fantastically together in the ultimate ecosystem; as a result I think the bin will definitely continue to thrive.
