Chikorita evolution cry from Pokemon Stadium 2 sounds similar to a blue jay call

I compared their cries to a blue jay and the results were very similar. I was thinking if Nintendo used a blue jay call for the cries of Chikorita evolution from Pokemon Stadium 2.
