I AM going to let youu in on a secret, a lot of dermatologists don't like heavy rich face creams, in fact they prefer lightweight serums and lotions which is why for years I have avoided traditional old school skincare. But I am falling back in love with moisturisers (and no it's not because my skin has changed or become dryer as I have gotten older). I think it's because moisturisers are becoming lighter, more effective and some are loaded with actives that mean that they offer everything that a serum offers and yet still hydrate and soothe. Next week I am looking at hydrating serums for warmer weather.
