Apex Legends next update is here! Caustic and Gibraltar get huge buffs, there's a new battle pass XP event, a Spitfire and Wingman nerf, a sniper buff, and so, so much more! So what's changed with the legends? Well, Caustic and Gibraltar will now take less damage. That's right, these big boys will have their damage taken reduced by 10%. This may not seem like much, but this can be a considerable enough change to the time to kill. We'll have to see how it performs in the game to find out.
It may make Caustic and Gibraltar a little too strong, but we'll have to see. This is still a nice change to see and it's great to see Respawn finally being more confident with balance changes.
That's not all that has changed. Caustic's gas mines have been buffed massively. And I mean massively. Their damage per tick has been quadrupled. Yes, that's right, 4 damage per tick instead of 1. And, on top of that, his ultimate can be thrown a little further.
I think this is a change that could really make Caustic a threat, although he'll still need some time to set up his traps to put them to their full potential.
Now, onto Gibraltar. What's changed there? Well, he also get the 10% reduced damage perk, of course. But, it doesn't stop there. His gun shield health has been increased to 75, which is a nice change. Besides that, our brudda hasn't had any other changes.
