Outline
1) Major
2) Cost
3) Location
4) Curriculum
5) Personality and Culture Fit
There's actually a huge ton of things to consider and think about, but I think these are the main and most important ones.
1) Having the right major should be pretty straightforward, but it's also important to make sure there are any backup majors you might be interested in.
2) Cost is also insanely important, not just in terms of figuring out to pay for it, but also when you're comparing colleges, to think about whether it's worth it to go to a certain college, if you can go elsewhere for a significantly cheaper price.
3) Being flexible with location is awesome, but there are many benefits and drawbacks to attending college to close and also too far away from home.
4) Curriculum matters because it lets you see the general road map and classes you'll be taking throughout your 4-5 years and how flexible it will be in terms of summer classes, study abroad, and even your regular school year, when you're figuring out which classes to take to fulfill your requirement.
5) Finally, the most important one to think about is personality and culture fit. Many of the top colleges might be ultra awesome to go to, but since you'll be socializing in college, not everything is going to be about being in the books, so it's important to find the best one that can match your personality and that you'll culturally best fit into!!
Thanks for watching if you made it this far!!
